It’s funny how one thing can lead to another, and thereby me end up drinking heavily the night before a midterm. It started with me taking a couple shots on the over all quality of my photography. Not feeling too good about my work, I entered a local competition pretty sure I was going to win. Maybe I should have known at that time that my hubris was dooming me to failure like that of Achilles and Oedipus before me, but regardless the remainder of my confidence was shattered as I came in with an honorable mention or a “I did not place” award. That lead to the drinking and that brings me here.
